If you haven't noticed these editing errors, where have you been, loca?
A list of all the filming mistakes made in the first Twilight movie was recently compiled, and fans of the 2008 vampire movie starring Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen), Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) can't get enough of revisiting the blunders.
In a video shared to TikTok Aug. 9, a handful of production mishaps were spotted by one eagle-eyed user, including a moment where you can see the filming crew in the reflection of Edward's car window as he drives by and one slip-up where his character closes the trunk of his vehicle twice in one scene.
But Edward isn't the only character who falls victim to the movie's editing oversights. When Rosalie Hale (played by Nikki Reed) sets off with Edward to track the scent of James (Cam Gigandet) and stop him from capturing Bella, her hairstyle changes from straight to curly throughout the clip.
And the story's leading lady is subject to a few inaccuracies as well. While recovering in the hospital after the final blowout battle with James and Edward, Bella's nasal cannula changes position on her face multiple times, at one point even partly covering her eye. Plus, the lamp sitting on the end table near Edward's visitor's chair moves to a few different places.
For some clever fans, the continuity flaws were nothing new.
"The nasal cannula on the eyes always bothered me," one user commented under the video, while another added, "The oxygen tube for Bella mistake makes me crack up every time I watch the movie. I love it so much."
Others were surprised they never spotted the blunders, with one user writing, "Idk I've seen this movie at least 200 times and I've never noticed these things hahahahah."
In the end, none of the callouts took away from their love of the film, which is based on Stephenie Meyer’s 2005 book of the same name.
"Honestly," one fan said, "this makes the movie just more enjoyable lol xd."
Another added, "You say mistakes I say the most excellent cinematic experience in all of film history."
